Nature Turns Golden Again

Melting river beds carved
in the marrow of your bones
sorrow gone
open your eyes
bask in warm light
sewn with sacred threads
mend and heal
awaken to new life
the heart is free and the body sings.

Nature Turns Golden Again

Melting river beds carved
in the marrow of your bones
sorrow gone
open your eyes
bask in warm light
sewn with sacred threads
mend and heal
awaken to new life
the heart is free and the body sings.

I am

Waking in a breathing antique shop
The evening song of string and bow
Mother sighs, father has gone to ground
Tick tock lures me to sleep

Sunshine wakes the misty field
Horses calling, school bus is coming
Hours exploring in the snowy woods
Does anyone know where I am?

The Right Place

trees called us
relieved, tired, weary
to refuel light
energy
in this respite
with kin
not seen in decades
our flight slows quietly
as we peer into
the inviting, incandescent, radiant
glowing, warm light
transmitting passion through openings
gold flecked, kaleidoscopic
energy bouncing off walls
into our chests, eyes, ears,
as we look behind us
at the next surge of tired bodies
as they, too, meander
spiral
explode.
